Client: Euphrazya Salon
Euphrazya Salon opened its doors on July 10th, 2008. Many salon clients inquire about the origin of the salon's name, which is actually the owner, Sarah Perhach’s middle name, as well as a type of purple and white flower. She drew her inspiration for the design of the salon from the logo, which is a purple and white flower, and knew that the design she was going for would have a nature theme to it.
“I am such a huge fan of color and creating a fun unique atmosphere, so I knew that by combing my love of art and interior decorating with my love of styling, it would be a really awesome project. I had bounced around a few ideas, knowing that I wanted the salon to be bold and really make a statement. But I was looking for something to add that ‘wow’ factor to the design. I had never worked with murals previously but after finding the Murals Your Way site online, I knew that was exactly what I needed to really have an impact on people when they walk through Euphrazya's doors.
The Bamboo 2 mural was the first mural I found that I knew I wanted in the salon. Against the bright purples of the styling floor, the real bamboo floors and the bold black and silver furniture, the life size bamboo just jumps out and really catches client’s attention not only from the front door, but also from the road. In order to stay cohesive with the design, I then searched for the perfect trees and flowers for the other rooms. The Birchwood Forest mural going through the halls give the feeling of actually being in the forest. When thinking up the design for the “Color Room”, I knew it should be exactly that-colorful. The Yellow Battle mural creates such boldness to the room, especially with the yellow and red painted walls. With the two-tone orange walls in the “Nail Room”, the purple and orange of the Lotus Flower, French Polynesia mural was the perfect way to make that room pop.
I was a little nervous ordering the murals online since it was such a large order. When I called and needed help making the murals to scale with each other, I was put at ease and was guided on the computer over the phone. With over 500 sq. feet of murals in Euphrazya, I was shown how to crop the images right on the computer so that all of the designs were a little bit different for each wall. With time constraints on the opening of the salon, the murals were delivered right when I was told they would be, and I was extremely happy about the quality and the colors of the murals, it was exactly what I had ordered and lived up to every expectation.
It was unbelievable to see the walls all painted with the bright bold colors and then see them transformed into something completely different with the installation of the murals. It created a story within the salon. I am so proud of the decor of the salon and proud to have the murals in it because it is unlike anything anyone in this area has ever seen. The reaction that the salon gets from clients is unreal. If I am not asked ten times a day where the murals came from, then it’s not a normal day. I have no problem referring people to Murals Your Way because they deliver quality products and go above and beyond to assist in the ordering process, as well as the installation.”
