Lisa and Richard Fields have been married for 3 years and had not lived in their home long before they chose The Creation of Adam wallpaper mural from over 5,000 images available at MuralsYourWay.com. The Creation of Adam is a replica of Michelangelo's original Creation of Adam painting found in the Sistine Chapel. The couple chose the barrel ceiling of their entryway to display the mural.

A spacious home was a must for their combined family of 5 kids and 2 dogs. Also key was creating a uniquely personal style. Lisa accomplished this by adding a Mediterranean flare with baroque accents. Custom touches can be found all over their home on Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina. Lisa chose to place a leather chaise lounge chair in the kitchen where you might have expected a breakfast table. She also chose an alabaster chandelier for the living room which casts a muted glow to contrast the bright light from the lake water against the taupe and gold paint colors. And you'll be sure to hear the wall above the living room mantle before you see it. An indoor water feature sends water down a pebble slab anchored above the fireplace, creating a soothing background.

This is Lisa's third home which they've poured their life savings, time, and love into. "My first home was very southern," states customer Lisa Fields. "Charleston and Savannah greatly influence the home décor in SC so I had a lot of traditional pieces in my first home. This new house is one of a kind. I went from having what everyone else had, to wanting my own unique pieces; I now prefer to start the trends. I'd have a mural in every room if I could and I may before this house is finished."
