Customer: Tamla Oates-Forney

Tamla Oates-Forney and her daughter, Annia were in the process of redecorating her bedroom and wanted to include ballerinas. Annia has been in ballet since she was 2 years old and currently at 8 years old is described as a very graceful girl who loves anything feminine. They decided to add a mural to incorporate ballet into the room without making ballet the rooms entire theme. Tamla found the Murals Your Way website through her Google search and thought “it was very user friendly.”

While viewing the murals for children’s rooms, she was able to find a ballerina image that was graceful and not cartoon-like, which is the style she was looking for. They both decided on Ballet Barre by R. Judson Zolan. Tamla called Murals Your Way to place the order and found the Murals Your Way Design Consultant to be very helpful. “I could not have asked for better service.”

Upon discovering the opportunity to personalize the image, she requested to alter the skin color of the ballerina to reflect her daughter’s ethnicity and add a darker shade of pink to the ballerina’s bodice and tutu. The Murals Your Way graphics department was able adjust the image and with her approval, the mural was printed and shipped out.

Tamla chose to hire a paper hanger to perform the installation, which made it very easy for her and her family. It only took one hour from start to finish and she thought it turned out great. “The quality is awesome and it looks as if it was painted on the wall. Our guests love it and are always asking where we bought the mural and how it was installed. Murals Your Way rates a 10 and I would work with them again without hesitation,” she said.
