from Talmage, KS - "This Christmas mural came about from a 20" x 30" canvas painting of the nativity, during the covid summer of 2020. The figures in the mural are actual paper on 1/4" plywood that stand some 3' high and are approximately 75 years old. The figures are not in pristine condition; and I wanted to preserve them in some form. I took photos of each figure, then painted the small canvas. The result mounted in the 5' 4" x 4 1/2' frame, which was made from a 100 year old church pew from our church, was just beautiful. I could not believe how much detail was carried through to the mural. Thank you, Amy, your were so helpful in helping me understand the process."
