John’s passion is Gigapixel "Ultra Large - Ultra High Resolution" Wall Mural sized Fine Art Photos that capture the beauty of God's creation. He has coined these images Gigaramas. Giga-Pixel images are images with at least 1 Billion pixels which is 20X higher resolution than the best high end 35mm cameras. Images of this type of resolution provide incredible detail even at wall mural sizes. Most of his photos featured on Murals Your Way are of at least 1 Gigapixel in size or larger and are either full sized or very slight reductions of the original Gigapixel images that are able to be printed at 150 ppi up to 10 ft high and at a width that should fit your wall. Having been doing photography for over 56 years, John started doing the "Gigarama" style photos in 2010 and is one of a handful of photographers world wide that have the knowledge, skill and experience needed to capture these immense images. John teaches a Gigapixel Panoramic Photography Workshop in Ouray, Colorado usually in September for the Fall Colors. Some of his photos have been published in "Landscape Photography Magazine", a digital magazine featuring landscape photographers from around the world. His work varies from landscape, wildlife, night photography and recently, Deep Space Photography.
