Larry Grossman grew up in L.A., where his professional art career began at age 15, airbrushing wild monsters and cars on T-shirts, He often collaberated with the legendary Car Kustomizer George Barris, painting in his booth at car shows. In 1968 Larry moved to Berkeley, where he graduated art school (and later taught), but in 1981 the Disney Studios enticed Larry back to L.A. to work as an artist on their landmark film "TRON". Freelancing in the 80's, he produced more art for Disney, Warner Bros. and Dreamworks, and even created three album covers for legendary musician Frank Zappa. Larry's current work reflects his interests in everything vintage, from Airplanes, Trains, and Diners, to Hot Rods. Utilizing strictly his own photos (which he often collages), he digitally airbrushes and enhances his images (never with A.I.) to create his unique, vibrant, and totally original style.
