This Policy describes how we collect, use, and share such information, and certain rights and options visitors and users of our services may have regarding their information. Collectively, the Websites, as well as the services we offer via the Websites, are referred to as the “Services” for the purposes of this Policy.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information Collected On These Websites

  • When you visit our websites, some information, such as the site that referred you to us, your IP and email address (if you decide to complete an online form), and navigational and purchase information, may be collected automatically as part of the sites’ operation.
  • On some occasions, we may ask you to provide information on online forms. For example, we may ask for your username, password, full name, telephone number, email address and postal address, or other information to register online.
  • Providing information on online forms is always voluntary, and you are free not to complete any online forms. If you choose not to, however, some products and services may not be available to you.
  • For you to submit an Order on our websites, we request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date).

  • Customer account information – Username, password, customer ID, and other account credentialing information that we may request, or you may provide, to access certain portions of our Products and Services.
  • Transaction information – Details about you and/or your organization’s transactions with us, including payment methods, payments made or received, payment details, transaction history, and other information regarding transactions between you, your organization, and Murals. Note that Murals uses a third-party processor to collect, process, and store payment cards or banking information used to make or receive payments.
  • Marketing information – Details regarding informational and promotional materials you may have requested or received from us, the services in which you are interested, your receipt of promotional communications, and information on your marketing or communication preferences.
  • Communication information – Copies of communications and inquiries you have submitted to us, including through email, calls, and “Contact Us” features available on our websites.
  • Device and usage information – Details regarding how and when you use our Websites, including the device used to connect to our Websites, your IP address and device identifier, the frequency and duration of your usage, the pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our Websites, and information about your interaction with our Websites.
  • We collect this information when you visit or navigate the Products and Services, fill in forms, request information on the Products and Services, communicate with us (including by phone, email, or otherwise), visit or engage with our social media pages, participate in surveys or sponsored activities, or otherwise provide us with personal information.
  • Please note that we may aggregate or anonymize the foregoing types of information such that they are no longer capable of identifying you, in which case they are no longer considered “personal information.” We may also collect information about you from third-party sources and information about you that is publicly available.
  • We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.
  • Contact information will be used to notify contest winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of the sites.
  • The information we collect may be shared with our subsidiaries, agents, third-party content providers, affiliates, and selected other entities for marketing purposes. In addition, unless you opt out of receiving promotional materials from us, we may notify you of special promotions, new products or services, or other information that may be of interest. How Long We Store Your Information

The information collected online is stored for the duration of our relationship with you or until you ask us to delete your data.

Linking to Other Websites and Third Party Applications

Our websites may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide while visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Opting Out, Withdraw Your Consent

If you do not want to receive promotional information from us, you can opt out by unchecking the appropriate box on your online registration form. If you did not opt out when you registered, and later decide that you are not interested in receiving this information, you can opt out at any time by sending an email to privacy@muralsyourway.com. Please allow up to 5 days for the email opt out to process. Please note that if you opt out of receiving promotional material from us, you still may receive such material from third party content providers, affiliates and other parties to whom we provide your information in the course of doing business, as explained above. Additionally, when you opt out of marketing communications from us, you will still receive transactional communications regarding your orders or other transactions – order confirmation, shipping confirmation, idea book request, swatch request, etc.

Reviewing, Updating, Correcting or Deleting Your Information

If you would like to review, revise, modify or delete information you previously provided on an online form, or believe that what we currently have on record is incorrect, you may send an e-mail to privacy@muralsyourway.com and we will update your information.

Brands and logos that appear on our site

The logos that appear on our websites are used with permission from the brands as our products were used by or featured by them, in their publications or their TV shows. These brands do not own, manage, promote or endorse us. Please contact us with any questions on this matter at privacy@muralsyourway.com.

Your Choices About Personal Information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

  • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can check to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for email purposes. If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at privacy@muralsyourway.com.
  • We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable.   • If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email or write to us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
  • Marketing Emails – As required by applicable laws, you can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” or similar link in any such promotional emails and following the instructions provided.
  • Cookies – Depending on your browser or device, you may have the option to set the browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, notify you when a cookie is set, or delete cookies. Each browser and device are different, so we recommend you evaluate the tools and settings available in your browser or device, as well as any available instructions for the same. RescueTime.com sends a "cookie" (Cookies are small text files that a website transfers to a visitor’s device for recordkeeping purposes) to your computer that contains an identifier that is unique to your browser session. We use this cookie to validate your authentication, provide you with a continuous experience, and to record how our site/product/service is being used. It is not used for marketing purposes. As is done with most web sites, we log each visit to each web page. Web beacons and other technologies.

The Services may use other tracking tools, including web beacons (also known as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs), which are small electronic images embedded in content and email messages that are not ordinarily visible to users. Web beacons allow us to track pages and content accessed and viewed by users, as well as to monitor email readership.

Social Media

If you interact with us on any social media platform: (i) depending on your social media privacy settings, the personal information that you submit on the social media platform may be read, collected, or used by us as described in this Policy, and (ii) where we respond to any interaction with you on social media, your account name/handle may be viewable by any and all members or users of our social media accounts. Social media platforms operate independently from us and we are not responsible for the personal information that you choose to submit or link on any social media platform. Children’s Online Privacy Protection

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy online. Our Sites are not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will not intentionally collect, maintain, or distribute information about anyone under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a user under the age of 13, we will delete this data from our records.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our Site visitors who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, details about their Personal Information (if any) that we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of Personal Information that were shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Environmental Graphics, LLC dba Murals Your Way (“Murals Your Way,” “we,” or “us”) understands the importance of your privacy and we take our responsibility to protect your information seriously.

This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“Notice”) supplements the information in the Privacy Policy posted on our website and applies solely to California residents.
This Notice explains our collection, processing, and disclosure of “personal information” relating to California consumers. Murals Your Way has not “sold” or “shared” personal information about a consumer (as those terms are defined by the CCPA) in the past 12 months, including the categories of personal information below.

Murals Your Way collects certain identifiers (such as IP addresses) and internet and similar network activity (such as website usage data) from you indirectly using cookies, pixels, and passive tracking technologies, as described in our website privacy policy.

The type and scope of personal data obtained from social media platforms depends on the type of APIs and permissions set out by the respective platforms and the administrative permissions granted by customers, where applicable.
  • Third-party collection: From time-to-time, we may obtain personal information regarding potential customers, or marketing or lead lists, from third party vendors. We use these, for example, to send you marketing communications.

Use of Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information for the following business or commercial purposes (as well as any other purposes as set forth in our Privacy Policy).

Sensitive Personal Information

Murals Your Way does not collect “sensitive personal information” (as defined by the CCPA) about California consumers.

Sale or Share of Personal Information

As noted above, in the past twelve (12) months, Murals Your Way has not sold or shared personal information of any category. Likewise, Murals Your Way does not have actual knowledge of any sales of personal information regarding minors under 16 years of age.

Your Rights Under the CCPA

The CCPA provides California residents with the rights discussed below. For convenience, and as required by the CCPA, we explain how you can exercise those rights, to the extent they are applicable.

Right to Request Information. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information during the past twelve (12) months. Specifically, you may request that we disclose:

  • The categories of personal information we collected about you;
  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you;
  • The business and commercial purposes for collecting your personal information;
  • The categories of third parties to whom we disclose your personal information;
  • The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you; and
  • If we disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, the categories of personal information received by each category of third party.

Right to Data Portability. You have the right to request that we provide copies of the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you. If a verifiable consumer request is made, and subject to any exceptions or limitations under the CCPA, we will take steps to deliver the personal information to you either by mail or electronically. If we provide the information to you electronically, it will be in a portable and readily useable format, to the extent technically feasible. Consistent with the CCPA and our interest in the security of your personal information, we will describe but may not provide copies of certain personal information we may receive from you (e.g., driver’s license number, other government-issued identification number, financial account number, health or medical identification number, account password, or security questions or answers) in response to a CCPA request, to the extent any of those items are in our possession.

Right to Request Deletion. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to any exceptions or limitations under the CCPA.

Right to Correct Inaccurate Information. If we maintain inaccurate personal information about you, you have the right to request that we correct that inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise the rights described above, you or someone authorized to act on your behalf—must submit a verifiable consumer request to us by sending an e-mail to: privacy@MuralsYourWay.com with the subject line: “CCPA Request” or calling us at 952-938-1300. Your request must include your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, the nature of your inquiry and the context in which we may have received your information. If you are an agent submitting a request on behalf of a consumer, we may request that you submit a signed permission from the consumer authorizing you to make the request. In order to protect the privacy and data security of consumers, the verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of such consumer; and
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request. We may also request that you provide additional information if needed to verify your identity or authority to make the request. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you or the consumer on whose behalf you are making the request.

Response Timing and Format

The CCPA requires us to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt; however, we may extend that period by an additional 45 days. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response via e-mail. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the receipt of the verifiable consumer request, provided that you may request disclosure beyond the 12-month period as permitted by the CCPA. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select the format of our response; the format will be readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another. We will not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing the request.

Our Commitment Not to Discriminate

Consistent with the CCPA, we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights by:

  • Denying you goods or services.
  • Charging you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
  • Providing you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggesting that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Changes to this Notice

We reserve the right to amend this Notice at our discretion and at any time. If there are changes to this Notice, we will post them here and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of this website after any changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes. Please check this page periodically for updates.

California Civil Code § 1798.83 (California’s Shine the Light Act) further permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
